PREDA Galway has just launched the PREDA 2010 calendar. It costs just 5 Euro with all profits going directly to help the children being rescued at PREDA. Russell Barnes, PREDA Galway photographer, has created a thought provoking and inspiring calendar full of positive images about how we can all help to improve the lives of others through our support.
We received great support from Fr. Shay Cullen and the team at PREDA, musicians Damien Dempsey & Sharon Shannon, Sportsmen Jerry Flannery, Shane Long, Kevin Doyle, Ollie Canning, Mervue United, and Actors Martin Sheen & James Cromwell.
The recently launched PREDA calendar has been shipped to PREDA supporters in Sweden, Germany, Hungary, U.S.A., Britain and throughout Ireland. The PREDA 2010 Calendar is currently on sale from the following sources in Galway :
Galway Community College, The Western Hotel, Claregalway Pharmacy, Riveroaks, Hughes SuperValu Supermarket, Claregalway Treat Cafe, Mervue United Clubhouse

PREDA founder wins International Person of the Year Award

Shay and the staff at PREDA who have worked for the betterment of children trapped in the sex industry as well as adult prisons since 1974. It is hoped that the award will help publicise the plight of the oppressed and enslaved children who the PREDA team are helping on a daily basis and give PREDA a stronger support base in Ireland than it already enjoys.. >>More
