PREDA 2011 Calendar Now on Sale

PREDA Galway Support Committee has launched the PREDA 2011 calendar. The calendar will be on sale for 6 euro through the main PREDA website and the PREDA Galway website as well as from local and national locations with all profits made going to PREDA Foundation in the Philippines. Each month features well known celebrities and personalities alongside pictures of PREDA’s good work and inspirational quotes.

People's Recovery, Empowerment Development Assistance Foundation was set up to rescue children from the streets, jails and brothels of the Philippines. To protect the rights of the women and children and free them from sexual abuse and exploitation. PREDA supports Fair Trade, providing marginalized producers and small farmers with cooperative skills, training, product design assistance and interest free loans.

Many well known Irish musicians and sports stars that support PREDA feature in the calendar. Damien Dempsey, Sharon Corr, Imelda May, Sharon Shannon and Seán Regan feature along side sports personalities Tomás O’ Leary, Jerry Flannery, Greg Cunningham, Shane Long, Lisbon Lions members Charlie Gallagher and John Fallon, Former Celtic player Tommy Lally, Members of the Galway Senior Camogie Team and Liam Mellows Hurling Club.
